Journey Review – Journey Movie Review, Rating, Telugu Movie: This is the debut movie of director Saravanan M and kudos to him for making this film with lots of human emotions. The movie is a blend of entertainment, love and sentiment. The title Journey is apt for the film as one will feel that they too are part of it. Suresh Kondeti should be appreciated for bringing out realistic films with entertainment to Telugu audience like this film. The movie is the dubbed version of Tamil film Engeyum Eppothum produced by AR Murugadoss. Here is the review of this Journey.
Listen Review:

Story:

The film is all about two young couples who are exactly opposite in their nature. They want to spend a happy life together with their loved ones upon their dreams. There happens a road mishap when two buses collide with each other at a highway near Suryapeta village.  That incident changes the course of lives of the young couples. The movie then slowly goes into the flashback episodes and the love story between the couples (Sharwanand and Ananya, Jai and Anjali) is showcased briefly.

Analysis

The narration is racy and the director keeps us connected throughout the movie with realistic approach. Every character in the movie has some importance. The film is laced with human emotions and the screenplay is gripping. The director should be appreciated for choosing a wonderful script. Overall, the movie is good and worth watching for its storyline and underlying message with human emotions. The star cast consisting of the likes of SharwanandAnanya, Jai and Anjali lives up to the expectations.

Krishnakanth (Jai) falls in love with a nurse Madhumati (Anjali). He is very timid in nature and a soft-spoken guy, while Madhumati is very practical and out-spoken. Amrutha (Ananya) from Vijayawada comes to Hyderabad for an interview and seeks the help of Gautam (Sharwanand) as she is new to the city. She slowly gets attracted to Gautam and starts loving him madly. Meanwhile, Krishnakanth along with Madhumati boards a bus to go to his hometown Munagala. Similarly, Gautam also takes a bus to Vijayawada to see and express his love to Amrutha. On the other side, Amrutha too boards a bus at the same time to Hyderabad to meet Gautam. The buses which they are travelling collide with each other and what happens next is the film is all about.

Performance:

The role of Sharwanand as Gautam is apt. He looks uber cool and stylish as a software engineer.Ananya should be appreciated for her performance as an innocent girl. Anjali as a clever, out-spoken and practical girl is very impressive. She is very lucky enough to get good roles at the early stages of her career. She has shown maturity in whichever role she has played so far. This is undoubtedly a wonderful performance from Jai who acted as an innocent young man who falls in love with Anjali. The new faces in the film add freshness to the script.

Technicalities:

The cinematography by Velraj is wonderful. Especially, the accident scenes were shot extremely well in realistic manner. The makers took care of the nativity factor and are quite successful in it. Debutant director Saravanan has handled the complexities very efficiently. Music by Sathya is equally impressive. The background score brings in freshness to the overall proceedings of the film. The editing by Kishore is good. The production values are neat.

Final Word:

Journey can be watched for wonderful performances from Jai, AnjaliSharwanand and Ananya. If are looking for a heart-touching and feel good love story don’t miss this film. The movie has very good chances to sustain at box-office.
