Aamir Khan denies playing Munna Bhai

There were reports about Aamir Khantaking over the Munnahai franchise fromSanjay Dutt. The news reports claimed that director Raj Kumar Hirani has been planning to replace Munnabhai and circuit characters with Aamir and Sharman Joshi.

Sanjay Dutt made Munna Bhai as one of the most lovable characters ever on Indian screen. Even Arshad Warsi’s portrayal of Circuit role was unmatchable. But Hirani is reportedly looking to take forward this most successful franchise ahead with Aamir Khan as he is popular than Sanju and also can make it a much bigger hit with his star power.

However, Aamir denies of donning Munna Bhai’s role. He said that no one can do what Sanjay Dutt did to that role. “If ever they come to me with this proposal I will give them Sanjay’s phone number,” Aamir said in a funny tone.
