Samantha - It Has Been A Memorable Year For Me

"I can never forget 2010. Until last year, my name was not known to many. Ye Maaya Chesave and Brindaavanam did a lot of good to me. People recognise me now. Wherever I go, people call me by my screen name [Jessy] in Ye Maaya Chesave. That's how much they liked the character.

"People, especially women, keep asking me if I like wearing saris. In my opinion, Indian women look the best in saris as it symbolises the elegance and grace of feminity. Most women today prefer an outfit that suits their personal style. But they do dress up in traditional attire during festivals. This year I will be in Chennai for Christmas. I have decided to spend time with my parents," says Samantha when asked about her plans for Christmas.
