Prabhas, Lawrence film ‘Rebel’ launched

Prabhas’s latest film Rebel under Lawrence direction was launched this morning. A formal pooja was conducted at Annapurna Studios for which Krishnam Raju and Akkineni Nagarjuna attended as guests. Krishnam Raju gave the first clap for the muhurath shot.

Anushka is paired with Prabhas for the second time after their moderately successful first film Billa. Regular shooting of Rebel movie will start in January and will be completed at a brisk pace. J. Bhagavan and Pulla Rao are producing this film on Balaji cine media banner.

Lawrence said that Rebel is an out and out mass entertainer written by keeping Prabhas’s mass image in mind. Producers are confident over the film that it would turn out be a big hit in Prabhas career. Thaman SS is composing music for Rebel.
