It is known that Anushka has done a Tamil film titled Singam opposite Suriya in Tamil (dubbed as Yamudu in Telugu). The film is being remade in Hindi and director Rohit Shetty offered the same female lead role in Hindi version opposite Ajay Devagan, but Anushka politely rejected saying she is busy with South films.
On the other hand, south actresses like Asin, Trisha, Ileana and others are waiting to grab good roles in Bollywood. seems to be different. The actress has rejected a Bollywood offer that has come her way.
