Popular actress Smrithi Irani is playing the role of Telangana Talli in the film ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’. This film is being directed by N. Shankar who is popularly known as ‘Encounter Shankar’. Forty percent of shooting part is complete and the balance work is being done at a brisk pace. Shankar is aiming to release this film in December.

Hailing from rural Telangana, Shankar claims that he knows the real problems of Telaganites. He says that this film will be an eye opener for those who all are opposing separate Telangana state. Shankar included real time Telangana fighters and poets in the cast to bring the natural flavor to the film. Chakri is composing music for this film.
