Tamil actor Vijay who is fond of doing remake films is also fondly called as ‘remake raja’. It seems like his love for remakes isn’t dying. Vijay completely lost faith in original scripts at the moment as all of his recent films were ended up as duds.
Currently he is working in two remakes. One is a remake of Nagarjuna’s Azaad and the other is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Bodyguard’. The latest from the filmy sources is Vijay is showing keen interest to remake NTR’s Brindavanam into Tamil.
Vijay is carrying more or less the same image to that of NTR Jr. He has been doing high voltage mass films all these days and is looking to break the jinx. Vijay recently watched Brindavanam and liked it immensely as he feels that this is the apt subject for him to cut loose from his mass image.
He ordered his loyal producers to bag the remake rights of Brindavanam at any cost and right now they are in contact with Dil Raju, who is waiting for the right time to sell off the remake rights. Dil Raju is waiting to estimate the success range of this film so that he can quote the amount
