Charan Got Three Options In Mind:Tolly Updates

Mega powerstar Ram Charan is not taken down by any of the
criticism he meted to him due to the lacklustre show of Thoofan, it
appears.<br /><br />But as he said earlier that if he will not do something
 his fans don't like, the hero is actually trying to work on that part.
Also he feels that adding good entertainment quotient and proper twists
to story, Thoofan would have done well. So what is the next plan of our
star hero then? The answer says he got three plans on mind.<br /><br />As a
 first option, Charan will be joining hands with director Krishnavamsi
for a multi-starrer movie that will be in the lines of a family
entertainer. Second option has it that the young mega hero will sign
either Trivikram or other big-league director for a regular commercial
flick. Third option is too pick another Bollywood movie with a happening
 director helming the project.<br /><br />Also there are indications that
Charan's new movie will be taking off from this Dasara, with Chiru
giving clap for muhurat shot. Let us wait and see to find out what our
hero will pick up.</div>

 as he has alone shouldered the entire burden of lifting the spirits of
movie to a new level. When a top hero from South is entering into B-town

difference, Charan has picked the remake of an all time blockbuster of
Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Zanjeer’ which shocked the biggest of the stars in
Bollywood. </div>

Now, when the reports and reviews are

the rest depends on how far Mega Power Star will be able to select good

ACP Vijay Khanna is an honest and aggressive cop. He is also a very angry young man. His upright nature is rewarded with a record number of transfers, but Vijay never changes his attitude. After an altercation with some ruling party members in Hyderabad ,he is transferred to Mumbai.</div>
<div data-iceapw="62" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Vijay is tasked with<span class="Apple-converted-space"> investigation</span><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>of the violent murder of a deputy<span class="Apple-converted-space"> collector.</span> He soon realises that a powerful oil mafia is behind the crime. As<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>the investigation<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>deepens, Vijay realises that the very wealthy Rudra Pratap Teja (Prakash Raj) is the man behind the entire criminal operation.</div>

As Vijay inches closer to the truth, Teja uses all his<span class="Apple-converted-space"> money and </span>influence to get Vijay suspended. <b data-iceapw="3">Plus Points :</b></div>
<div data-iceapw="40" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Ram Charan has delivered yet another power packed performance. He looks good as a cop and he has fit into the<span class="Apple-converted-space"> character </span>of ACP Vijay Khanna quite seamlessly. This movie will be a pretty good debut vehicle for Charan’s Bollywood career.</div>
<div data-iceapw="35" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Priyanka Chopra is ok. She looks pretty hot in the ‘Mumbai Ke Hero’ and ‘Pinky’ songs. Sri Hari is effective as Sher Khan. Tanikella Bharani has given a dignified performance as the courageous crime reporter.</div>
<div data-iceapw="38" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Prajash Raj is very cool as the mafia Don Teja. He is well supported by Mahie Gill, who appears as Mona. Their conversations are filled with ‘double meaning’ dialogues that might work with B and C center people.</div>
<div data-iceapw="32" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
The pace of the film is good. The short run-time is an asset. Just like in<span class="Apple-converted-space"> james bond</span><span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1" style="background-attachment: scroll !important; background-color: transparent !important; background-image: none !important; background-position: 0% 50%; background-repeat: repeat repeat !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(0, 0, 255) !important; border-bottom-style: solid !important; border-bottom-width: 1px !important; color: rgb(0, 0, 255) !important; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif !important; font-size: 14px !important; font-style: normal !important; font-weight: normal !important; padding: 0px 0px 1px !important; position: static; text-decoration: underline !important;"></span>, a song plays out during the opening titles and this has been shot quite well.</div>
<div data-iceapc="1" data-iceapw="3" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
<b data-iceapw="3">Minus Points :</b></div>
<div data-iceapw="37" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
When compared to the original ‘Zanjeer’, this movie fizzles out in terms of story and screenplay. The plot is quite superficial and predictable. The romantic episodes between Charan and Priyanka Chopra could<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>have been<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>a lot better.</div>
<div data-iceapw="34" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
In the original film, the bond between Amitabh Bachchan and Pran is established quite brilliantly. That is not the case with this present day Zanjeer. The<span class="Apple-converted-space"> friendship </span>between Charan and Sri Hari lacks emotional depth.</div>
<div data-iceapw="42" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
The<span class="Apple-converted-space"> placement </span>of songs is quite bad, especially the ‘Mumbai ke Hero’ song. This is not a Telugu movie and Charan’s traditional fans will miss the mass masala entertainment that is normally found in the star’s films. Comedy quotient is also quite low.</div>
<div data-iceapc="1" data-iceapw="3" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
<b data-iceapw="3">Technical Aspects :</b></div>
<div data-iceapw="40" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Gururaj’s cinematography is just about ok. Editing is not up to the mark. Except for one or two sequences, re-recording is strictly average. A more capable music director would have really helped the film. Telugu dialogues are just about ok.</div>
<div data-iceapw="30" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Apoorva Lakhia has succeeded in maintaining good pace throughout the film. But he should have infused more humour and entertainment into the proceedings. He scores passing marks as a director.</div>
<div data-iceapc="1" data-iceapw="2" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
<b data-iceapw="2">Verdict :</b></div>
<div data-iceapc="4" data-iceapw="68" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
Do not compare this movie with the original classic(Amitabh’s Zanjeer). They are two very different movies. Charan has given a power packed performance and the film has its moments. A crisp runtime also helps matters. A better script and a higher dose of entertainment would have really helped matters. Still, the movie ends up as a decent cop drama.</div>
<div data-iceapc="4" data-iceapw="68" style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; orphans: auto; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">
<br /></div>

Unexpected and may be the excitement of Ramcharan Fans is fulfilled. The first shows of ‘<b>zanjeer</b>’
 premiered specially for close friends and critics of Mumbai circles are
 giving superb reports. In fact, there are some top reviewers who rated ‘<b>zanjeer</b>’
 as a superb action flick with ratings of 3.5 to 4 looking possible.
This is enough for Charan who worked very hard to make the debut film
successful in every aspect.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Definitely Ramcharan may not be on par
or equivalent to the talent pool of Amitabh Bachchan but director has
changed the script to suit the tastes of present day audience. This has
done the trick and Ramcharan’s debut film is almost considered as a hit.
 Well, control your nerves folks…we still have few more hours to go for
the first shows of ‘Toofan’ to be screened in Andhra Pradesh.</div>

Southern superstar Ram Charan seems to be very busy with the

recent promotional event was happening at Mehboob studios two days ago
when Ram Charan met Ram Gopal Varma who came by the studio that night
for a quick chat with Ram Charan. From what we hear, the conversation
was about an offer for a role in an upcoming RGV project to which Ram
Charan said no and the reason seems to be a role in a Salman Khan film.<br />

It was first mentioned in a tabloid’s report where it states that
Charan got the role in the Salman Khan project long before the release
of his Bollywood debut movie ‘Zanjeer’. The actor and Salman are known
to be good friends after they bonded over home-cooked meals in Hyderabad
 where both were filming their respective movies ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Mental’.
Therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise if Ram Charan let down RGV and
took up Salman’s film.<br />

Charan himself admitted in recent interview that he has couple of offers he is considering and he will reveal after Zanjeer.<br />

Well, Ramcharan is hero in both the movies of ‘<b>magadheera</b>’ and ‘Toofan’ but directors are different. While ‘<b>magadheera</b>’
 was released in very early stages of Cherry’s career to stand as
industry hit and now ‘Toofan’ whose Hindi version titled as ‘Zanjeer’ is
 releasing as a debut Bollywood film of Charan in direction of Apoorva
Lakhia. The top B-town director who is utmost confident on the movie to
stand out as a commercial blockbuster also says, ‘I got some time to
watch ‘<b>magadheera</b>’ long ago and I was decided at the very point of watching this movie to cast Ramcharan in the new version of ‘Zanjeer.’ </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There is a reason behind as Ramcharan
was at superb ease in performing action sequences and this is what is
required by me for the lead character in ‘Zanjeer.’ So, I had no
apprehensions,’ Apoorva said. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, ‘<a class="desctag" href="http://www.cinejosh.com/tag/magadheera.html" title="More on magadheera"><b>magadheera</b></a>’ seems to be showing its effect on Charan’s film career even in present situations.</div>

Ram Charan Teja Interview: I Don't Expect Too Much From Zanjeer:Tolly Updates

Ram Charan Teja, who is foraying into Bollywood with Zanjeer, does
not have any expectations from the movie Zanjeer, the remake of Amitabh
Bachchan's 1973 superhit film. The 28-year-old Tollywood star, who was
apprehensive to step into the shoes of B-Town megastar, hopes to get 10
per cent of what Bachchan had got from the original film.

In an interview to PTI, Ram Charan Teja said, "I don't expect too much.
It was intimidating, to get into role of Big B for this film. There was a
 bit of pressure and it was difficult to handle. In a way when you take
up a film like this, certain amount of pressure should be there as it
makes you more serious, disciplined and responsible. It worked to my
advantage," Ram said.

Amitabh's role as Vijay Khanna, an aggressive cop, acquired cult status
and established him as the angry young man of Bollywood, giving him his
first Blockbuster. The Telugu actor also happened to meet the
70-year-old superstar on the first day of his shoot for the film, helmed
 by Apoorva Lakhia.

Ram Charan said, "It was a coincidence that I happened to meet him
(Bachchan) on the first day. As we were shooting in the same location. I
 was quite scared as I was playing his character. I had no clue how he
would react, but he was calm and cool." He added, "Those blessings gave
us energy to perform better. I did not ask for any suggestions or ideas.
 I wish he could have given some, but he is not that kind of a person
sharing his knowledge. He wished good luck"<br /><br /> </div>

Ram Charan Teja's latest outing Toofan and its Hindi version
Zanjeer have been cleared from all legal problems on September 2, 2013.
The Bombay High Court has dismissed the application of Salman Khan's
father Salim and Javed Akhtar, who were seeking interim injunction on
the release of director Apporva Lakhia's Zanjeer remake starring
Priyanka Chopra in the female lead.

After hearing the case the Bombay High Court held that Salim-Javed had
approached the court with an incorrect case, twisted their case in the
course of hearing, belied their initial story pleaded in their plaint
and failing to substantiate their incorrect case attempted to procure
certain affidavits and letters which the court refused to give credence
to.
Case Against Ram Charan's Toofan Rejected

Salim Khan has made incorrect statements before the court and has given
explanations on oath before the court which on the face of it is
incorrect. The court has opined that, prima facie it is Shri Prakash
Mehra who was the owner of the copyright in the underlying literary work
 of the original film Zanjeer and not Salim-Javed as contended.

The court has also importantly observed that, even if the court had
reached a conclusion in favour of Salim-Javed holding copyright, as
alleged, Salim-Javed would still not be entitled to any reliefs sought
by them on ground of their deliberate delay in initiating the aforesaid
legal action. In fact, the Court has categorically concluded that they
were certainly guilty of delay on their own part in approaching the
court.

The court has also observed that acceptance of Salim-Javed's case of
mandatory injunction in the facts and circumstances would be totally
unfair to the producers, as from day one up to the completion of the
shooting Salim-Javed have repeatedly claimed money for their alleged
case of copyright infringement hence disentitling them of any injunctive
 relief.

The court has observed that the balance of convenience lies in favour of
 the defendants requiring rejection of the reliefs sought by
Salim-Javed.</div>
