Ek Villain writes B.O. history
As we said Ek Villain will be a ‘hero’ at the box office but to such thunderous applause.. unprecedented!!. Taking the Indian box by storm on day one Balaji’s ‘Ek Villain’ directed by Mohit Suri, recorded a Historic 16.72 crores on 2539 screens.

Registering itself as the second highest opener of the year in absolute terms after Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’. In terms of screen average, it is the highest opening of the year.
'Ek Villain’ team is thrilled by the success and celebrated at director Mohit Suri’s office in Mumbai. One of the villains from the film, Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter to post the celebration pictures.
