Popular villain Mukesh Rishi has been a part of the Tollywood industry from many years and has worked with three generations of star heroes. While he showed his variations as a character actor too, it appears he has taken up a business which is something new and non-filmy. Mukesh has been chosen as the Commissioner for JKLPL (Jammmu- Kashmir, Ladakh Premier League) cricket tournament. Well, this is going to be a typical IPL format cricket tournament but the difference is, the matches will take place only in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regions. But reports say the tournament follows the same pattern under BCCI rules. Mukesh Rishi as the commissioner of the tournament hails from Jammu and he has always wanted to do something for the people there. Considering the political and militancy tensions, this idea diverts the common man in a positive way. It would encourage the locals to think of their future in sports. The tournament is scheduled to take place in 2014 wherein preference would be given to local players. The logo for JKLPL has already been released. A total 12 teams would be taking part and the idea behind this is to motivate the Kashmiri youth towards something positive. This is an interesting role the renowned actor is taking up in real life.
