Although star heroes wait for right
scripts to act in multi star films, the blame game and ego clashes never
entertained this trend to develop in Tollywood. Thanks to Venaktesh and
Mahesh Babu who have started it finally with ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo
Sirimalle Chettu’ and some sort of optimism is these days floating in
film circles on many more spectacular multi star films might arrive in
future. However, the topic of present interest is ‘jagadguru adi shankara’ directed by JK Bharavi.
With a stellar star cast of Chiranjeevi,
Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu, Sreehari, Suman, Sai Kumar, Roja, Meena, Kamna,
Kamalini and others, this could be well called as Biggest Ever Multi
Star. Never mind, roles assigned for many of these artists are more than
cameos and less than full fledged characters yet their presence on
screen can be cherished by Fans. Away from commercial circuit thinking,
JK Bharavi should be appreciated for the efforts he has put in to rope
each of these star celebrities to become a part of ‘jagadguru adi shankara.
