Megastar Chiranjeevi, who took a break from films and entered politics
to pursue a dream serving people, would not have imagined such a rough
path ahead. The Star formed Prajarajyam Party with a vision and later
got stuck into many unpleasant political tiifs. Chiru, who is now a part
of Congress Cabinet, is still going through turmoil as the protestors
react to his decision not standing by United Andhra. The agitators are
now condemning the release of both Attarintiki Daredi and Yevadu and
some riots in Andhra have seen posters being torn as a sign – The Andhra
will not see the release of Mega Family films as long as Chiranjeevi
does not resign – goes the buzz word. The same pressure is on Junior
NTR, whose film with Harish Shankar, Ramayya Vastavayya, has been banned
from releasing in Telangana by this side of the protestors. This was an
angst followed by the resignation of Harikrishna Nandamuri, that
triggered protests following his non support for independent Telangana.
Whether Chiru resigns or not, this becomes a crucial factor for things
to unfold in future.
