2013 seems to have begun well for Anushka Shetty. She has been roped in as the leading lady for S S Rajamouli's film. The movie in question is a period drama, with Prabhas as the leading man. Though Anushka made her Tollywood debut in 2005, it was Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu that gave her the much needed commercial break in Tollywood. Off late her career is not all that happening and getting an S S Rajamouli's film can do well to her career, we think.
Anushka has been paired for the third time with Prabhas. They acted together in Billa first and now are doing Mirchi. Anushka has already signed Gunashekar's 3D historical film, Rudrama Devi. So looks like her resolution this year might be to concentrate on Telugu films.
S S Rajamouli is working on this period drama. Hero and Heroine of the film have been finalized. Now he is hunting for the villain for his film. Earlier actor Rana was considered. We will be back with more news on this film…stay tuned.
