 This would be really a bad news for the Mobile SMS Texters, DOT (Department of Telecom) has banned the bulk SMSes and MMSes for 15 days. To check spread of rumours which has led to exodus of northeastern people from certain states goverment of India has taken this decision. The Fake news about Assam violence, tthreatening the north eastren people and making them to ran away. From today onwards,we can send only 5 SMSes in a day and cant send more than 20 KB of data upto 15 Days, some operators have reportedly levied this cap on person-to-person SMSes as well.
