Short tempered Balakrishna slapped an ardent fan of his late father, NTR. The actor, who one day aspires to be the chief minister of the state like his father, involved in the incident when fans crowded around him at the Seetha Ramachandra Swamy temple at Bhadrachalam where he, along with producer Yalamanchili Saibabu and others, had gone to perform a puja to mark the success of his latest film Sree Rama Rajyam, which has finished 100 days.Onlookers say the fan, delighted at being in close proximity with the actor, kept following him, trying to strike familiarity. Nata Simham was annoyed, told him to back off and when the fan persisted, slapped him. However, despite the affront, the fan in question, Guntupalli Ramakrishna, said that it did not matter and he was happy that Balakrishna had posed for a photo with him afterwards. Well, perhaps the fan is lucky in some ways. For those who don’t remember, Balakrishna’s nickname is also shooting star after he shot at film producer Belamkonda Suresh in his house after the two had an argument over some issue. Fortunately for the actor, Suresh recovered from the injury, and he was let off.

When news spread that Balayya was visiting the temple, a large crowd of the yesteryear star’s fans gathered to meet him. Unfortunately, he failed to understand the zeal of the fans to meet him and slapped Ramakrishna, who was standing behind him. Political opponents of Balakrishna are laughing at this incident saying that political career is very tough for these kind of volatile personalities. Let's hope this serves as lesson to Balayya for good.
