Padmabushan Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao has established Akkineni International Foundation in order to honour the famous people who dedicated their life to Indian Cinema. Earlier Akkeneni International Foundation felicitated Dev Anand, Shabna Ajmi, Anjali Devi, Vaijayanti Mala, Lata Mangeshkar and K Balachander.
Now for the year 2011 the Dream Girl Padmasri Hema Malini is going to felicitate with Akkineni Award by Akkeneni International Foundation on December 26th at N convention in Hyderabad. Honorable Minister of Railways Sri Dinesh Trivedi and Honorable Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N Kiran Kumar Reddy will grace this event as chief guests.
