Story:
An okay tale, the story begins with Tony (NTR Jr) who does anything for money. He sees Niharika (tamannah) and falls in love with her. Niharika doesn't have such feelings but eventually she makes friends with Tony and after a while she also falls in love with him. Meanwhile, Tony gets into the gang of one Sarkar (jayaprakash) and keeping him in the front, he starts killing few bad guys. The reason for his killing is for a specific reason and the reason for that is a flashback which gets revealed later. Meanwhile, Azzu Bhai (prakash raj) the dreaded international don comes in search of Tony. And Niharika gets into a tangle with Tony due to his killing spree. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a storyline full of twists and while the presentation was above average, the narrative was having few fluctuations. The dialogues were witty and they were good at places. The script was well written and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good and three songs were hummable. Cinematography was excellent in few places and weak in few places. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were stylish and trendy while the art department was rich. NTR Junior has come up with a pumped up performance and though there are no mass traits, he delivers the masala in required dose. Tamannah looks pretty as usual but this time there is not much glamour show from her. Payal Ghosh has a significant role and she does justice to it. Prakash Raj has a brief presence and he did that as required. Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghu Babu and their team was the best among the lot for giving nice humour. Tanikella was brief, Shaam, Sayaji Shinde, Rahman come and go. Murali Sharma was not given due importance. The others were there to fill the screen.
Conclusion:
The film has arrived with very high expectations and as it was mentioned by the makers, it is the story which is the key point more than the hero or heroine. While the first half passes off smoothly with the required elements of romance, action, comedy and a good twist at the interval bang, it is the second half that tends to test the patience of the audience. Few scenes are dragged, songs are irrelevant, the climax fight is illogical. Overall, this is a film which is good in terms of its making but the content aspect was not portrayed to an impressive extent. At the box office, the film will succeed due to its pre-release hype and the festival season.
