Telugu Cinema: Akkineni fans left shattered by Dhada

Dhada movie raised so many expectations prior to release, but ended up as a flop on the first day itself. Naga Chaitanya’s previous two films were hits at the box office and one expected Dhada to be a decent film to complete a hat-trick for Chaitanya. But director Ajay Bhuyan’s shoddy work left the film in doldrums.

Dhada is one of the most criticized films in the recent past where audience booed publicly while watching the film. They couldn’t stand the torture of the happenings on the screen. Dhada is made on a very high budget and will end up as a big disaster says trade experts.

All the parties that invested upon this film will lose more than half of their investment, they say. Its competitor Kandireega getting good applause will only add to the woes of Dhada. Akkineni fans that expected this film to launch Chaitanya as a mass hero were left shattered by the end result.
