Despite being hailed as a best actor,Prakash Raj had his share of controversies for being unprofessional at times. There were many complaints lodged against him at Telugu and Tamil producers council for troubling the producers. The latest controversy he landed in is about the bilingual film Maatran starring Suriya in the lead.
This film is being made in Telugu and Tamil by ‘Rangam’ fame director K.V. Anand.Prakash Raj was roped in to play a key role in it. He was supposed to wear a wig for his character for which the actor opposed. After heated argument about the wig between him and director, Prakash Raj left the sets and sent a message to the producers that he is not acting in the film anymore.
The schedule was upset and the shooting was stalled for a couple of days and Anand replacedPrakash Raj with Sachin Khedekar. He feels that certain look is necessary for that character and hence wanted Prakash to wear that wig. But Prakash Raj is not interested in the look it seems.
