Ever since Katrina Kaif rode a heavy-weight bike in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara , her riding skills have been raved about. All the boys in the film from Hrithik, Abhay and Farhan have been teasing Katrina since then that they would like to sit behind her and go for a ride. Finally it is happened yesterday and Hrithik won the race. Katrina took him for a bike ride on a raining Friday evening.
Even at the first press conference of the film, Katrina had declared that she loves riding the bike and she would ride a bike in Mumbai, given half an opportunity. "I practiced riding a light bike in Mumbai. And in Spain I learnt how to ride such a heavy bike. I had to train for four or five days. Zoya took just 3 hours to can the shot! But I really enjoyed it", said Katrina.
Ever since then Katrina has been planning about buying a bike and riding around in Mumbai. At that time, she said, "I do want to ride a bike in Mumbai but, on second thoughts, riding it in the city would not be much fun because people will start following me. So I first need to figure out some calm place where I can ride a bike without garnering much attention". And seems like she finally found a sound place yesterday at Filmcity, Goregaon in Mumbai where she took Hrithik for a ride on a Royal Enfield.
Meanwhile Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is doing exceptionally well at the box office. It has grossed Rs 28.42 Cr in its opening weekend in India and has been soaring even on weekdays.
Everyone from the star cast thoroughly enjoyed their shooting experience. They got a chance to learn something new. Katrina on that account has a double bonanza. She learnt deep sea diving as well as bike riding. She was at her adventurous best!!
