As expected, Raviteja’s Mirapakay movie which was supposed to release on December 23rd has been now pushed back to January 6. Earlier, Mirapakay filmmakers opted for Dec 23rd release as there was no big film releasing for Chirstmas weekend.
However, Nagarjuna’s Ragada release date was pushed from 17th to 23rd as Nagavalli is slated for Dec 16th release. Nowadays, Tollywood makers have come to an understanding that they won’t release two big films on one day. Thus, avoiding clash and eating into other’s collections.
This theory was applied even for Khaleja and Brindavanam as Dil Raju willingly gave away way for Khaleja to enjoy solo release in that particular week. It is a good practice which the business circles are feeling extremely happy about.
