Samantha, who made her Tollywood debut with Ye Maya Chesave was recently seen in successful Brindavanam starring NTR Jr. With two hits to her credit Samantha is right now doing Dookudu film opposite Prince Mahesh Babu under Srinu Vytla direction.
Samantha is also roped into do the heroine role in Pawan Kalyan’s film under VV Vinayak direction. With each film Samantha has been turning red hot among the current lot of heroines.
Samantha has been the first choice for many star films at the moment. So, naturally most of the dubbing filmmakers are trying to cash on Samantha’s craze and buying the dubbing rights of Tamil films starring her. Samantha made her Tamil debut recently with the film Baana Kaathadi starring Adharva, who is Tamil actor Murali’s (who died recently) son.
Baana Kaathadi is a big flop n Tamil but to cash on Samantha’s craze in Andhra Pradesh, it is being dubbed into Telugu as Kurralloy Kurrallu. This film is slated for release in December. The dubbing rights holders of Kurralloy Kurrallu are banking heavily on Samantha factor to make money.
