There is huge buzz surrounding Rakta Charitra since it was announced and it is continuing to be in limelight even after the release. This film has irked late NTR’s fans as Ram Gopal Varma conceived few scenes which highlighted the dark side of NTR.
Though Ramu stated that this film is a fictitious adoption to real story of Paritala Ravi, NTR fans aren’t happy with the way their leader is shown in this film. In Rakta Charitra, Ramu showed that Shivaji Rao (character written after NTR) ran away fearing Bukka Reddy (Obul Reddy in real) and asked the help of Pratap Ravi (Paritala Ravi) to eliminate Bukka Reddy. These scenes didn’t go down well with NTR fans and there was severe agitation from them.
RGV and producer C. Kalyan immediately reacted and said that the controversial scenes will be removed right away.
