As anticipated, actress Vidya Balan, who had until recently kept her relationship
with Disney (UTV Motion Pictures) CEO, Siddharth Roy Kapur under wraps,
finally tied the knot with him on Friday morning in a simple marriage
ceremony.
It is learnt that the wedding was a very
private affair with the presence of only family members and close
friends of the couple. Surprisingly, neither the media nor Bollywood
celebrities were part of the marriage festivities.
However, the couple had hosted a private family dinner, followed by a mehndi ceremony on December 12. Although everybody thought the marriage ceremony would take place at Vidya's Bandra residence, which was lit and decked up for the occasion, it is learnt that the marriage finally happened at a temple in Mumbai as per the wish of Vidya.
Sources say Vidya was spotted in a sari designed by her favourite designer, Sabyasachi.
Speculation is rife that the couple
might throw a grand reception party for their colleagues and friends
