National awards for the year 2011 were announced this morning and out Telugu films got a raw deal from the jury. Despite having award worthy films from last year, jury didn’t announce the best film of Tollywood when one from every regional language has been awarded one.

Sri Rama Rajyam and Rajanna movies should have won the awards in various categories. At least one of these should have fetched the best Telugu film award. For some unexplained reasons our movies have been ignored.
