Samantha in Mani Ratnam’s Kadali : Samantha Fans Update

Actress Samantha is roped into play the female lead in legendary director Mani Ratnam’s next film. Titled Kadal (sea) in Tamil, this will be released in Telugu asKadali. Mani Ratnam thought of roping in a fresh face for this film, but finally settled with Samantha.

Karthik’s son Gautham is playing the lead role in Kadali. This film will be launched on February 11. Samantha hails from Tamilnadu, but got her first break in Telugu cinema. She is going to make a mark in Tamil cinema this year with Gautham Menon and Mani Ratnam films.

Samantha is also making debut in Hindi this year with Gautham Menon’s trilingual flick. She is extremely busy in Tollywood now.
