AIEEE 2012 Exam Date,Format - Schedule - Fees
Every year close to 1200,000 students appear for AIEEE, for AIEEE 2011 the number of candidates registered was 11,14,880 and for AIEEE 2010 the number was 11,18,148 students. The total number of seats across all participating institutes will be approximately 28000 for engineering and 1000 seats for architecture.
AIEEE 2012 will be held on a mass scale hence candidates are requested byCBSE to get familiar with online exam pattern. The tenth AIEEE was a mess due to paper leak issue and few candidates had to take the test once again,
The Eleventh All India Engineering Entrance Examination AIEEE will be held on April 29, 2012 (Sunday) as per the notification released by CBSE. AIEEE is anentrance test for admission ino NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and Few State Funded Institutes for admissions into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses.

AIEEE 2012 Examination Format - Schedule - Fees
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2012 is slated to be held on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) through offline mode and Online Examination for B.E./.B.Tech. will be held from 7th May to 26 th May, 2012.
Online mode of examination is available only for B.Tech or B.E courses; offline mode is available for both engineering and architecture courses.
AIEEE is a gateway for admissions in Engineering and Architecture courses in National Institute of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technologies (IIITs), other Centrally funded Institutions, Deemed Universities and Institutions in States/UTs (Other than those covered by Joint Entrance Examination) State Level Entrance Examination.
