Reason for Manchu Lakshmi no to Kamal

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna barely two films old got a very big offer to act in Kamal Hassan’s dream project Vishwaroopam. But, the actress turned down the offer citing lack of dates and created sensation by saying no to a star like Kamal Hassan.

The actual reason behind her denial is Kamal has offered her a vamp role in his film where in the character demands her to show some ooze and oomph factor and also offers minimal value in the film. This didn’t go well with the Manchu lady and declined the offer. This seems to be a bit frustrating for Kamal as he is scratching his head to finalise the female leads in his film.

Lakshmi Manchu‘s last film Dongala Mutha is a dud at box-office. She is currently busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film Department directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
