Dookudu Audio Report: Fails to deliver

Thaman, who has been the buzz word of Tollywood in the recent past, told that he will set a new trend in Telugu cinema withDookudu. Mahesh Babu has always been loyal to Manisharma in his career and this time he has given chance to his assistant Thaman.

Did Thaman deliver goods for Dookudu? This audio doesn’t have any chartbusting songs except few routine beats from Thaman. Nee Dookudu is the signature song we hear in almost every Mahesh’s album. Puvvay puvvay… is the only song in which Thaman tried to experiment a bit. This song sounds like a eighties style of club song.

De thadi De thadi will be lapped up by the masses but offers nothing new on the music front. Guruvaram March okati is the only soft number in this. Starts off on a good note and loses track within no time. Chulbuli chulbuli and Adara Adara songs are mediocre stuff from Thaman. The former reminds of Kilimanjaro from Robo and the latter is a regular marriage song we hear in Thaman albums. On a whole Dookudu audio’s life will depend upon the film’s success.
