Bollywood grapevine is abuzz that Aamir Khan is all set to do the third installment of Munna Bhai franchise. With the first two films doing exceptionally well and Munna Bhai turning out to be an iconic character on Indian screen, director Raj Kumar Hirani wants to take it to the next level.
Hence, Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra decided to have a bigger brand name for it. That is where Aamir Khan stepped in. The idea of making the third part of Munna Bhai with Aamir was born on the sets of 3 Idiots. Sharman Joshi, who played one of the idiots in that film, might essay the Circuit’s role which was done by Arshad Warsi in first two parts.

It is not uncommon to replace an actor with another for a hugely successful role. Hollywood’s Bond is the best example for it. So, if everything goes as per the plan Aamir and Sharman will be the new Munna and Circuit.
