Comedian turned hero Sunil has taken a brief break from films after Appalraju and is making cautious moves to bag another hit as hero. He is starring in the Telugu remake of Tanu weds Manu in which Taapsee is likely to play the female lead.
He is also planning to do a film titled Banthi. This is an action comedy which was supposed to be directed by Surender and Rajamouli. But Rajamouli opted to do Maryada Ramanna instead and Surender has moved on to other projects. However, Sunil is hell bent on doing this film as he has immense confidence in the script.
A producer came forward to produce this film and also one of the successful directors waved green to direct it. More details are awaited.
