Efforts are on to organize a national wide T-20 league for film celebrities. This is going to be called as ‘Celebrity Cricket League’. A cricket team each from Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industry is going to participate in this league tournament that will be played in the weekends of January.
Ahuti Prasad (on behalf of Movie Artists Association) said, “We have seen scrollings in TV Channels about MAA participating in CCL. We got the proposal to participate in CCL and we are speaking to Chiranjeevi, Bala Krishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh regarding the same. As of now, we haven’t confirmed our participation in CCL. We will announce our decision soon once we decided over it internally.”
